1. What we collect
When you create or contribute to a Kicchaak board, we collect: your email address (for sign-in and notifications), photos you upload, voice recordings you create in the browser, written messages you submit, the name you choose to display, and basic technical data like device type and IP address for security purposes.
2. How we use it
We use your content to display memories on the board you contributed to. Email addresses are used for magic-link authentication, board notifications, and (where applicable) waitlist updates. We never sell your personal data, photos, voice notes, or messages to third parties, and we do not use them to train AI models.
3. Storage and security
Photos, voice notes, videos, and messages are stored securely in our managed cloud backend (Supabase), encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to the board host and people who have the board's share link or QR code. Board owners control their content — they can delete individual contributions at any time from their dashboard. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
4. Sharing
Content you submit to a board is visible to the board's host and anyone the host shares the board with. We do not share your data with advertisers. We may share data with service providers (hosting, email delivery, payments) who help us operate Kicchaak.
5. Your choices & data deletion
Guests and board owners can request deletion of their contributions or their account at any time by emailing kicchaak@sm2ctech.com, or by using the Request data deletion link in the site footer. Board hosts can also delete individual contributions from their dashboard at any time.
6. Children
Kicchaak is not directed to children under 13. If a guardian believes a child has submitted content, please contact us to have it removed.
